Whick is Contagious Good or Evil?

Haggai is speaking to a priest asking if one 'bad' person can make one 'good' person 'bad'. He uses different similes to create his point. It makes one wonder and Haggai ask, "Which is contagious, good or evil"? In the Old Testament law, he found that consecrated meat-set aside to be used in sacrificial worship-did not "spread" its holiness.

Haggai continues to argue with the priest asking, "If a person carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garmint, and that fold touckes some bread or stew, som wine, oil or other food, does it become consecrated?" When the priests realizes he is right he tries to say that "If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things" it too becomes defiled.
